Subject	300zx engine in a 240sx?? What do you think about it??

Message	I am curious as to what you guys on the forum think about putting a VG30DE or a TT in a s13 240sx chasis. I know that the z32 is a beautiful chasis, but the s13 is very light. If a VG30DE was put into a 2700lb car as opposed to a 3250lb car, I can imagine that it would really make that car sing. I understand that the VG is heavier than a KA out of an s13, but there would still be major wieght savings. I dont think that the VG wieghs more than 150lbs over a KA. Especially if the VG doesn't have an AC compressor/bracket attatched to it. Imagine if a 2700lb (plus added motor wieght) s13 with a VG30DETT as compared to a 3450 z32 with the same motor. I am also aware that there have been a very small handful of people who have accomplished this.
